Hi, I’m Lizzie!
I’m a designer and illustrator with a background in education tech and informative media. Currently, I’m a designer at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs where I’m illustrating global concepts and using visual storytelling to enhance audience engagement.
Recently, I obtained a master’s degree in design from Carnegie Mellon University, where I earned the Master’s Merit Award. I hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where I studied cognitive science and music, blending the two to focus on music perception. My design practice combines my studies in perception, a lifelong passion for arts and illustration, and a love for learning. I bring professional experience in designing for an editorial team, communications, and developing products in the ed-tech space.
I love exploring multi-media and learning new skills – reach out if I seem like a good fit for your project or team! Say hi 👋🏼 at lizzie.sokolich @ gmail.com
